MMV Contracting Ltd are an OLEV Approved Installer of electric charge points under the Electric Vehicle Home charge Scheme (EVHS) and Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).

As an OLEV authorised installer, we can supply and fit EV charging products providing charging points at your workplace and home thanks to our fully qualified and product

trained engineers.


We’re an approved installer of the following brands Zappi, EO, Sync EV, Andersen, Hypervolt and Ohme, all of which are fantastic smart operational units that can be controlled using a mobile app. Some of the units we install have the option to be integrated with Solar power, whether you have panels at your home already or may look to get them installed in the future this could be a very beneficial feature when looking to go green.

What is the WCS Sceheme?

The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)  covers up to £350 per charging socket. Units that can charge two vehicles at once qualify twice. Funding is available for up to 40 sockets per year. Once the install’s complete, the authorised installer can claim the grant from OZEV on the applicant’s behalf.

What is the EVHS Scheme?

The EVHS, or Electric Vehicle Home charge Scheme, is a grant provided by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), aimed at offering an additional incentive to UK EV drivers.


The grant offers up to £350 off the cost of purchasing and installing a charging unit at your property, and can be claimed on the majority of fully electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles currently available. Some of the terms and conditions of the grant are as follows…

  • You can claim one home charger per eligible electric or plug-in vehicle, and up to two eligible vehicles per household.
  • Your home charger must be OZEV-approved and installed by an OZEV-approved charge point installer.
  • You must have purchased an eligible electric or plug-in vehicle from 1st October 2016 onwards.
  • You must have off-street parking, such as a driveway or garage.

Although as of the 1st April 2022 things are changing, OZEV is aiming to boost electric vehicle demand in the rental and leasehold sectors. From 1 April 2022, the EVHS will no longer be available to homeowners in single-unit properties. Installations made under the current scheme must be completed by 31 March 2022, with claims submitted by 30 April. Applications made after these dates will not be eligible.
