The UK Government will be introducing legislation to include EV charging points on all new-build homes and offices in England as of 2022. The new legislations mandates that new chargers must be “smart devices” such as Zappi and HyperVolt to name a few, these enable owners to charge their vehicles at off peak times to save money and avoid overloading the electricity grid. Ordinarily chargers will be set to send power to the cars during night when the demand is low.
