Police Response Alarms
Police Response Alarms are not offered as part of our service. Unless you have a real need or are pressed into it by an insurance company. The risk must justify this course of action, but we would avoid them as they are;
- expensive to install due to the design requirement.
- ongoing high expense to monitor again due to the design requirement.
- More expensive to maintain due to the insurer’s requirement.
- You MUST have a keyholder who can be on site within 20 minutes of the call being received.
- Outwardly to the intruder they would look no different to a non-police response alarm installation.
- There is no guarantee that even after you have paid out all the extra costs that you will actually get a police response.
- it’s you who goes into the property first, not the police.
- False alarms can become expensive and are the route the police take to take you off their “response” service.
- After false alarms lose your status you will usually have to invest more money bringing the system “back up to standard.
