We recently completed the installation of a Paxton Net2 Door Entry system for a commercial client in Kettering. The client was looking for a professional door entry system to complement their recently refurbished premises and decided MMV was best for the job. Following an initial site survey, we proposed the installation of a Paxton Net2 Entry system to which the customer agreed and invited us back to carry out the works.
Our Solution
Paxton makes door entry simple with systems comprising of just three simple components: an external panel, door control unit, and internal monitor, their Entry system provides a true plug-and-play solution for all door entry needs. In this case, the system is networked with Net2, which means that the system is managed centrally from the PC software allowing the customer to take advantage of the range of additional features the Net2 software offers.
To best meet the client’s requirement, we went for the Paxton Entry – Standard Panel with Rain Hood, a Net2 Plus, PoE+ 1 Door Controller, and two Paxton Entry – Standard Monitors with Handset. The installation was completed over 2 days which included training for the staff on site on how to use the Net2 software. Our work has secured the door and enabled our client to manage and monitor their site entrance for staff and visitors.
