Our final install of 2024 took us to Leicestershire where we installed x4 Sevadis MaxiChargers for Lutterworth High School.
As always, the process started with a site survey. This allows us to understand what the client is looking for, improves the planning process by helping us gain knowledge of the site and picture the project. The requirement was simple, a reliable charging solution that could be managed, monitored, and monetised.
For this reason, we turned to our tried-and-tested Sevadis x Fuuse solution.
The project included the supply and installation of x4 EVCs, switchgear, cable, and commissioning.
Our Solution
The Sevadis MaxiCharger is a wall or pedestal mounted single outlet universal Type 2 EV charger. It charges up to 7.4kW on a single-phase connection or up to 22kW on a 3-phase connection. OCPP 1.6 compliance, built-in PME fault detection (PEN protection), IP54 weather rating, static load management, and dynamic load balancing capabilities make this charger an ideal charging solution for domestic and commercial installations.
We’ve installed a fair few of these chargers now and although they are not the cheapest on the market, in our view they are without rival the best! With installs going back to early 2023 we’re yet to have any issues with them and a 0% failure rate (touch wood)
Utilizing the MaxiChargers OCPP compliance the system is powered by Fuuse. Fuuse is an intelligent back-office management system that provides installers and charge point operators with significant opportunities for the future of electrified transport. The Flexible Charge Point Management Software allows the client to manage, monitor, and monetise their system with ease. The software is packed with features developed for you to easily manage your network without having to incur any of the costs associated with developing a back-office, phone app, secure payment, and management platform.
Drivers initiate charging sessions by scanning a QR code located on the face of the MaxiCharger. Visible summary of charging costs, such as /kWh rate, connection, parking, and overstay fees before starting sessions. Credit or debit card details can be stored for ease of future sessions.
As Fuuse-approved installers, we can help you save energy, reduce costs, and generate revenue through one fully configurable charge point management software.
