Last year we were invited to quote for the supply and installation of a CCTV System at the Hall Meadow Primary School, part of the InMAT Educational Trust.

We welcomed the opportunity and carried out a full site survey to gain an understanding of the site, their requirement, and the solutions we could offer. We proposed the installation of x10 Dahua 5MP TiOC cameras and designed the system to cover the gated entrances, playgrounds, and buildings’ perimeter. TiOC, also known as a three-in-one camera, integrates 24/7 full-colour monitoring, active deterrence, and AI into one intelligent and innovative solution. TiOCs can accurately identify potential risks and effectively warn off intruders, effectively protecting life and property safety.

Earlier this year, we were pleased to receive the order and were invited back to complete the installation.

Work was scheduled to be completed over the course of 4 days in the February Half term removing the risk of disrupting the school’s day-to-day operation. Of the 10 camera locations, 3 were remote and isolated from the main building, this made running cables to these locations difficult and costly. Our solution was to make use of local power from the automatic gates to power a set of Genie Pier to Pier/Multi Pier 3km+ IP Bridges, this proved to be a fantastic cost and time-saving solution. The W3500S is a 5G wireless outdoor bridge that achieves data transmission over the air for point-to-point and point-to-multi-point connections up to 3km transmission distance.

We expect the system to achieve up to 30 days of recording with footage available via the free issue DMSS APP for computers, smartphones, and tablets.

The Hall Meadow team have been trained to use the system and are pleased with our work, fulfilling their requirement and providing them with a surveillance system to serve the school for years to come.
